Welcome to our "About Us" section.
My name is Sharon Kirk, and as the co-ordinator I oversee the progress and development of Dalriada Rural SureStart programmes on a day-to-day basis.
SureStart Programmes and workers are at the cutting edge of change in the statutory, voluntary and community sectors, and as such we are leading the way in working across professional boundaries and exploring what works best for children and families in our area.
The SureStart approach is still a relatively new concept and we are all in a process of learning. We have an ambitious agenda that is exciting, dynamic and inclusive. Fortunately at Dalriada SureStart we are blessed with a great with a great bunch of staff that are friendly, approachable and committed to the work they are doing.
With a diverse and multi-skilled team, we are doing our best in providing local families with a wide range of services and activities. An array of experience and talent is on offer from both staff and home-start volunteers. Come and meet the team and find out what they are doing for local children and families.
As co-ordinator, I am proud to introduce you to some of the best staff any organisation could have.
